Here are 15 top questions most clients ask about our Pricing, and the answers.
How do you decide if my product is Small, Medium, Large or Extra Large?
We decide based on the item’s packaging size and the packaging considerations required. For example, the packaging material and packaging consideration of an item like Men’s Wallet is far different from a Leather Handbag or Sneakers. Each product is placed in a size category based on how much packaging it needs.
Do I pay fulfilment fees upfront or only when an item is shipped?
Fulfilment Fees are only charged at the end of each month, for all items we shipped that month. Storage fees are for your total opening stock, and also charged at the end of the month.
If I store products with Qurnex but got no orders that month, do I still pay anything?
If you’re a new merchant with Qurnex, you get 30 days of free storage. After that, every month your items are stored with Qurnex, you get charged for storage whether you make sales that month or not.
Is the 30 days free storage for all my items or only the first batch I send?
Do you increase fulfilment fees during peak seasons like Black Friday?
No. Our fees remain the same during peak seasons.
How do I know Qurnex is not overcharging me for fulfilment or storage?
Our fees are simple and transparent. You can confirm your item category before getting started. This way, you know exactly how much you’re being charged for all your orders. No hidden fees. No surprises.
If I use a Silver/Gold/VIP plan, can I mix item sizes?
Yes. Once you reach the order volume for a plan (Silver, Gold or VIP), all your item sizes fall under that plan.
What happens if I exceed the number of items in my plan?
If you pass the limit, you’ll be automatically move to the next plan for that month. For example, if you exceed 499 orders on Silver, you move to Gold.
Do you offer discounts for merchants with 300–500+ orders monthly?
If my item stays in storage for over 90 days, does the fee increase?
No. You pay the same monthly storage rate until the item is sold out or retrieved.
Do subscription plans cover fulfilment fees or storage fees?
They cover fulfilment fees only. Storage fees stay the same.
If I sell on both Jumia and Konga, does the pricing change?
No. The same fulfilment fees apply for both platforms.
If my product is returned by Jumia, do I pay fulfilment again when it ships out?
Yes. Each time an item is shipped, a fulfilment fee applies.
Are there any onboarding or pickup fees when starting with Qurnex?
Getting started is free. If you want us to pick up your items, you only pay the pickup cost based on distance and the size of the load.
